The Key to a Man’s Heart

There are many different viewpoints on the way to a man's heart. Men seem to think one way and women think another way. The top contenders are sex and food. Why, then are relationships so hard if a man is so simple? The answer to that is that men are not so simple.

It is quite easy for us to stereotype men. We often consider them emotionless and purely driving by primal needs. Men are not that simple. If they were then we’d all have a good one, right?

Men are just as complex as women. They are complex in a different way, though. Also each man is unique, just as each woman is unique. While it is true that there are some things all men have in common, most stereotypes just do not fit every man.

Many women mistakenly believe that food is the way to a man’s heart. For some men this may be true, but in general, I hardly think a man will fall for a women simply because she can cook. No, a man’s heart requires a bit more than just good food.

There are also many women who believe that the key to a man’s heart is sex. While it is true that men are very sexually driven, not all men are going to be satisfied with a woman who is all about sex all of the time. Even men crave some emotional relationship.

Perhaps a more true way to a man’s heart is to make him feel needed and important. This is directly related to the male ego, which is just a natural part of a man’s make up. Men have always been held as the one who takes care of his family. He is the provider; he is the one everyone looks to for his wisdom and his abilities. A man naturally wants to feel like he is important to his mate. He wants to feel needed and like he is an essential part of the relationship. The male ego needs to be made to feel like he is top dog.

Men are not as simple as they may appear. Simply giving them food and sex is not going to make them happy very long. The truth is men are also blessed with short attention spans. What men really need is something to feed their ego. They love themselves and they need to know that they are loved and desired by the one they are with.

When trying to find the key to a man’s heart you have to start thinking about your man or the man whose heart you want. It comes down to getting to know him and what he’s like. Only then can you really find the key to his heart.
